They just push onto the plastic shaft of the rotary switches using a D shape to hold them in place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eMy replacements are made from custom machined Aluminium, which is then anodised and laser engraved. The D shape was too expensive to produce so I have opted for a round inside shape with a metal grub screw to hold the knob in place.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThese are beautifully made and finished. for the internal size.  It seems that very early wheels have a slightly wider pin plug in the wheels.  This plug has a very slightly bigger diameter.  I have only seen this on older wheels like the
