Building on my years of experience I am delighted to launch my newest conversion kit for Fanatec steering wheels.
Build from the highest quality materials that are beautifully finished. No 3D printed parts.
I have designed every part of the conversion kit personally. Everything is custom made either by me or for me.
Every kit is assembled by my hand in the UK
I have designed a one piece Aluminum casing to replace the 3 part existing design.
The new design will only allow fitting of 70mm PCD QR or Wheelbase, which nearly everyone uses.
Has both threaded and non-threaded bolt holes so threaded and non-threaded QR’s can be used without the need for any additional adapter.
With the new case, the USB cable is in the middle rather than offset to one side.

Compatibility
FANATEC WHEELS
Your Fanatec wheel must have come with one of these Quick releases. The QR is not required for the conversion.
WHEEL BASES
You can use this conversion kit on any wheel base. The functions of the wheel are via the USB cable direct to your PC only the physical connection to the wheel base is needed by bolting the wheel direct to the wheelbase or using a QR system.
These are popular connection methods for various wheelbases.
GAMES
PC only not suitable for console.
Should work with all games.

I Purchased the SRM Adapter for the Fanatec Formula V2.5 with the Simucube wheel-side adapter on Thursday the 1st April and it was here in Australia 6 days later, I opened the box and eyebrows were raised, the quality of the machining in each component is excellent, I looked over it with a set of inspection glasses 4x magnification and not a single imperfection, the threads are cut perfectly and the preparation prior to anodizing has clearly been spot on too, the final products were all outstanding. I followed the very simple instructions and converted the Fanatec in no time (incidentally and equally impressive product, solid, great feel, nice tactile switches and encoders and absolutely magic shifters) I plugged it in, loaded Fanaleds and job done, it works seamlessly and I’ve enjoyed one endurance race already. The encoders work the best out of any I have tried in the past, no bounce, very accurate and just an effortless purchase. The kit also came with a spare USB cord, quite a nice addition to an already fantastic kit. I have my own CNC mill and can design and create adapters and pretty much anything I need but it all takes time and money in materials and processing, for what you get from SRM, it is not worth my time, the job is done and it’s a perfect 10/10, if you need to adapt a Fanatec wheel, just buy one, I’ve looked hard and this is the best option by far.

Purchased at midnight on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday afternoon all the way in the US. The fit and finish is flawless and everything works great. As others mentioned, everything you need is included, instructions are very easy to follow and the machining work is top notch.
If you need to convert a Fanatec wheel to USB SMR kits are the clear winner!

After receiving my new Fanatec F1 2020 limited edition, I started researching if it was possible to convert it to usb to be used with SimCube2. Fast foward, found and bought this kit, converted my wheel and bought SC2 and yeah a very happy customer so far.
Received the conversion kit after 3 working days which was perfect since my SC2 was not even delivered.
Even though this limited edition difffers a little bit from the V2, it was straightforward.
Highly recommended kit!!
(Side note: Fanatec put an excessive amount of silicone on this 2020 limited edition from the board around three sides from where the header is and a bit over the header so it took ages to remove the silicone).

Very well made. Product is plug and play and includes everything you need. Took about 45 minutes to install but instructions were good and straight forward. Definitely the cleanest and easiest conversion kit available for DD wheels.

Used this on my F1 2018 (gold) Fanatec rim and it works flawless. The QR is solid, very well machined parts.
The integration of the Bodnar board is clever and it fits like a glove although due to the tight spaces you do need to be careful of trapping cables.
Using this with the advanced paddle module and the only difference with the official Fanatec bases is that the dual clutch system cannot be used to set a bite point and instead functions like 2 analog axes only.
10/10 would buy again.
