Conversion kit to attach to your Wheelbase.

The Kit includes…

  • Version 5.6 SRM PCB
  • Aluminum casing
  • Fitted coiled USB cable
  • JST PA Cable with Female QR pin Plug (Extra 2 pin plug for the BME)
  • 6 x M5 45mm CAP bolts with black coating
  • 6 x M5 washers
  • 6 x M5 nyloc nuts
  • Aluminum QR pin mount
  • Steel QR plug washer
  • 5 x M4 bolts

Fitting the conversion…

Fitting the conversion is easy.  All the parts you need are included.  You will need your own tools.
You MUST HAVE a Sim Racing Bay male QR otherwise you cannot use the kit
First attach the Female pin plug to the SRB QR using the supplied Aluminum back plate and supplied M4 bolts.
Next, attach the Pin plug cable to the kit PCB.
The kit must be bolted to the Wheelbase using a 70mm hole pattern.  It does not matter if your wheelbase shaft hub is threaded on not, you can use the supplied bolts and nuts to attach it.
Attach the SRB QR in front of the kit and bolt both to your wheelbase.
The Coiled USB cable must go direct to your PC – The kit is not compatible with consoles..  You will need to use a USB extension cable, our DIN cable option or have a USB hub near the wheelbase.
No soldering, cutting or gluing needed, just removing a few bolts / screws.
The conversion is fully reversable if you keep the parts that you remove.
What wheelbase can I use?
The converted wheel can be used with any wheelbase / Direct Drive system.  Because the kit plugs directly into your PC it is independent of the wheelbase.

Compatibility

FANATEC WHEELS

Your Fanatec wheel must have come with one of these Quick releases. The QR is not required for the conversion.

WHEEL BASES

You can use this conversion kit on any wheel base.  The functions of the wheel are via the USB cable direct to your PC only the physical connection to the wheel base is needed by bolting the wheel direct to the wheelbase or using a QR system.

These are popular connection methods for various wheelbases.

GAMES

PC only not suitable for console.

Should work with all games.
