Then you need our Emulator because the SRM Emulator products are designed for people who own a Fanatec wheelbase, but want to use a non-Fanatec steering wheel.

Why do you need an Emulator?

There are two reasons for purchasing an emulator from us.

1. To force the Fanatec wheelbase to enable force feedback.
2. Allow attaching a Fanatec QR1 or QR2 quick release to a non Fanatec wheel.

Fanatec wheelbases do not generate any forces unless they detect a Fanatec steering wheel attached to the pin plug (inside the QR).  Our emulator products will make the wheelbase see a Fanatec wheel and therefore enable force feedback.

Our full emulator products come with everything needed to attach a Fanatec QR1 or QR2 and bolt to a standard steering wheel providing it has a 70mm or 50.8mm hole pattern (PDC).

The Emulators will work on all Fanatec wheelbases from the older CSL Elite / CSW to the latest DD1 / CSW DD.

Why should I buy an SRM product rather than one of the ones from China?

We came up with the emulator solution and we understand the way Fanatec wheels work better than anyone else in the world.  We understand the way Fanatec encrypts steering wheels and can apply proper code to work in the same way Fanatec does.  The Chinese versions are hard coded with a single wheel's details using a very basic method.
