Base side conversion kit V7.21x
This kit is designed to fit to your wheel base and allow you to use your Fanatec steering wheels without modifying them. Simply swap wheel rims as you would on a Fanatec wheel base. You need to add a base side QR part either the QR1 or QR2 system.

Whats different 5.2x to 7.2x
- PCB redesign using components from 7x conversion kit.
- Has both USB terminal bock and Molex 4 pin plug for USB connection.
- Uses 12 pin HY plug for better compatibility.
Whats different 7.2x to 7.21x
- Uses removable / replaceable USB C Coiled cable as with the 7x kit.
- Our cable clamping mechanism.
Fitting the conversion...
Fitting the conversion is easy. All the parts you need are included. You will need your own tools.
The Coiled USB cable must go direct to your PC - The kit is not compatible with consoles.. You will need to use a USB extension cable, our DIN cable option or have a USB hub near the wheelbase.
What wheelbase can I use?
The converted wheel can be used with any wheelbase / Direct Drive system. Because the kit plugs directly into your PC it is independent of the wheelbase. Mounting requires a wheel base with a 70mm hole pattern.

Conversion kits will only work on a PC consoles are not supported.
Disclaimer regarding the QR2 Base side option:
I have worked really hard to ensure fine tolerances on the QR2 Base side option and when tested here I get no play. But some customers have reported minor play while others say they are absolutely fine. I have done my best with these and because I make very little from selling them, I have to ask you to accept that they are as they are. Please only order if you are prepared to accept that there might be a tiny bit of play.
