SRM Product Firmware Flashing

Some SRM products can be updated using our Firmware updating software.

Conversion Kit 5x, 6x and 7x

These products can be updated while connected to USB, so you do not need to open or remove the PCB to update.

    • Latest version including support for the Porsche Vision wheel.

Please note that you cannot update Fanatec wheel firmware using the conversion kits.  If the Fanatec software suggests an update is available this should be ignored.  The only way you can flash a Fanatec wheel is to remove the conversion kit and connect the wheel to a Fanatec wheelbase.

Emulator V7

Only update your firmware if the emulator is not working or you have been asked to do so via technical support.

Both the Midi and full emulator can be flashed.

Flashing requires opening the emulator product and attaching a USB Type C cable

    • Fixes bug that prevents the emulator working on the CSW DD+ wheelbase. Only Flash if you are using this wheelbase with the latest Fanatec drivers and your Emulator does not show up as a wheel.
