Collection: Conversion Kits
Fanatec gaming wheel conversions to USB
What’s the difference between the kits?
The main difference between the conversion kits is how they attach to the wheel and the wheel PCB. Wheels with the removable quick release use the 7x or Base side 5.2x kits. Older wheels where the quick release is bolted from inside the wheel require either the 5x lite or the Base side 5.2x kits
All conversion kits use the same electronics and firmware, so they can all work with the same Fanatec wheels. When a firmware upgrade is published, it can be applied to any of the conversion kits listed below.

CSL GT3 now working with the conversion kits
The first customers have started receiving the new Fanatec CSL Steering Wheel GT3

Success... I've got the new wheel working with a firmware update on the conversion kits. Firmware V7.00 is now published and works as the CSL DD rather than the Elite - This enabled me to get this new CSL GT3 wheel working.
Firmware updates are only available to kits that already have firmware 5.80 or higher I'm afraid.
The kits for this wheel are the 7x and 5.2x Base side.
