Midi version of the V7 Emulator
This product is designed to be inserted directly into the wheelbase QR. It will fit into both the QR1 and QR2.
Like the version 6 tiny emulator this will just sit in the wheelbase QR and allow you to use non-fanatec wheels. You will need to add a Fanatec QR to your wheel. Because the Fanatec QR bolt pattern is unique you will need one of our optional QR adapters as well as this product together with a Fanatec QR.
Although the Midi is much taller than the Tiny emulator, it fits just the same, but is much easier to insert and remove.
The Midi emulator uses the same pin plug and PCB as the full emulator. This means it can be upgraded to the full emulator Standard or even Pro later if your needs change. The PCB firmware can be updated via USB if you want to change the wheel that shows up in the Fanatec software, or we need to update anything. (Changing the wheel will be launched in the future and will require a firmware update)
Version 7 of the SRM Emulator allows the code on it to be changed via a USB cable. It is intended that you will be able to choose the Fanatec steering wheel you would like the emulator to show up as. The initial wheel will show as the Universal Hub V2

Why is one pin shorter than the others?
This is not a mistake, it's something that Fanatec do too. The reason for it is so that before this pin connects to the wheelbase, the other pins are already connected. This pin is a ground and it tells the wheelbase that a new wheel is now attached and basically turns the wheel on.
