USE A NON-FANATEC WHEEL ON A FANATEC WHEELBASE

Enables Fanatec wheelbases to provide force feedback by emulating a Fanatec Formula wheel.

Compatible with the following Fanatec wheelbases:

  • Podium DD1 and DD2
  • CSW all versions 1, 2 and 2.5
  • CSL Elite Xbox and PS4 versions
  • Older CSL
  • CSL DD
  • CSL DD Pro
  • CS DD
  • CS DD+

Emulator products require the added purchase of a quick release if you don’t already have one.

Technical Support Considerations

Emulators are designed to allow force feedback only and are not intended as an alternative to the Fanatec Podium or Universal Hub.

Buttons, shifters and a Hat Switch can be added, but ready-made solutions are not available from SRM. If you wish to explore a DIY solution, a few cables and parts are available, but support is not provided for this.

Emulators will only work on PC-based systems. They are not designed for use on consoles although they may work.

Save money and space with the Tiny or Midi versions.

You will need as separate adapter plate to mount a QR1 or QR2 to a standard wheel as Fanatec QR's have a custom hole profile.



V7 emulator version advantages


The V7 emulators have a modular design so the parts can be changed or added to as needed.  The core emulator fits into our Pin plug for fanatec wheels.  The pins can be replaced and you can turn the Midi into the full emulator or visa versa.

The V7 emulator can be flashed and uses proper Fanatec encryption rather than a static version used on the Chinese versions.  You will also be able to choose which Fanatec wheel you want it to be shown as via Firmware and / or software (This is due soon).

Why should I buy an SRM product rather than one of the ones from China?

We came up with the emulator solution and we understand the way Fanatec wheels work better than anyone else in the world.  We understand the way Fanatec encrypts steering wheels and can apply proper code to work in the same way Fanatec does.  The Chinese versions are hard coded with a single wheel's details using a very basic method.
